Howe v. UEF [07/07/06] 2006 MTWCC 27 In a case in which a contractor billed the homeowners for the claimant’s services, one of the homeowners testified that she assumed the claimant was paid by the contractor, the claimant testified that he negotiated for an hourly wage with the contractor, and the contractor’s brother gave the claimant some money which the claimant understood to be a loan which he would pay back when he got paid, the evidence supports a determination that the claimant was the contractor’s employee.
