Cranford/St. Paul Guardian/State Fund/UEF [4/12/02] 2002 MTWCC 22 A subcontractor who has previously been engaged in construction, who contracts to remove a building in exchange for ownership of the building, and who has the right of control over the actual removal, subject only to providing proof of insurance and complying with governmental safety regulations, is an independent contractor/subcontractor.
